Culinary walk on the Rinerhorn

Your adventure begins at the valley station of the Rinerhorn cable car in Davos Glaris. From there, the gondola lift takes you comfortably up to the Jatzmeder mountain station at 2,050 metres above sea level.
From the mountain station, you have a choice of two hiking routes:

• Direct route to the Hubelhütte (approx. 45 minutes)
• Panoramic route via the Nüllisch Grat and the Rinerhorn (approx. 2.5 to 3 hours)

At the Hubelhütte, a delicious aperitif with regional specialities and a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain landscape awaits you. The hike then leads back in 40 minutes towards Jatzmeder via the Äbirügg. Along the way, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of Davos and the Jakobshorn. A delicious lunch awaits you at the Jatzmeder mountain restaurant. After lunch, you can return to the valley either on foot or comfortably by gondola. The day ends on a sweet note with a dessert at the Blockhuus restaurant, right next to the valley station.

1. Aperitif at the Hubelhütte
To welcome you, a generous aperitif platter featuring specialities from Graubünden and South Tyrol will be served. To accompany this, you may choose either: 1 glass of herbal aperitif or 1 glass of white wine

2. Lunch at the Jatzmeder mountain restaurant
Choose one of the following main courses:

• Beef stroganoff with buttered noodles and vegetables
• Pork steak with rösti croquettes and vegetables
• Thai curry with chicken
• Vegetarian Thai curry 

3. Dessert at the Blockhuus restaurant

To round off the meal, you can look forward to:

• Apple strudel with homemade vanilla ice cream

Held on Saturdays and Sundays

For an enjoyable hiking experience, we recommend:

• Comfortable hiking or trekking boots
• Clothing suitable for the weather
• Sun and rain protection
• Sunglasses and sun cream
• A small day rucksack

The hike is well suited to experienced walkers and hikers with a reasonable level of fitness.
